Grayden Laing is an Ontario-based artist who has been receiving artistic commissions since he was fourteen. He started out as a portrait artist and has branched into landscape painting, figurative sculpture, animation and live-action video.
Over the past couple years I've been working with Azam Fouk Aladeh at Multicultural Cinema Club to develop animation camps for kids of all ages and skill levels. For each video we've produced there has been a lot of prep work, many hours spent with the students crafting ideas and animations, as well as several late night editing sessions before the kids get their final DVD. It's always been amazing to me that we're able to condense all that hard work down onto a single DVD. The option agreement for Beer Goggles was signed with Decode in December 2007. Beer Goggles is now being developed by Decode into 26 half hour episodes. The episodes will hopefully be coming to a TV near you in a year or two! I'll keep you posted.
